Week 7 Injury Report: Surprise Punch in the Nuts

Week 7 Injury Report: Lamar Is Out, Puka Is Questionable

Lamar Jackson went through three limited practices, carried a Questionable tag into Saturday, and then Baltimore ruled him Out.

Surprise (might play)

Christian Kirk, San Francisco WR: The 49ers activated Kirk from injured reserve Saturday and removed his Friday Questionable designation. He practiced fully Wednesday through Friday and enters Sunday with no game designation.

Jordan Mason, Minnesota RB: The Vikings listed Mason Questionable despite full practices Wednesday through Friday, then activated him from injured reserve Saturday. His designation remained Questionable.

Jonah Coleman, Denver RB: Coleman practiced fully all week, was listed Questionable on the Broncos’ Friday report, and was activated from injured reserve Saturday.

Dylan Sampson, Cleveland RB: Sampson went from limited Wednesday and Thursday to full Friday.

Josh Jacobs, Green Bay RB: Jacobs wasn’t a Friday injury-report designee. Green Bay activated him from exempt status Saturday, and NFL.com reported that he’s expected to play. No game designation followed him onto the active roster.

The Rams list Puka Nacua Questionable with a calf injury. He wasn’t listed Wednesday, practiced on a limited basis Thursday, and didn’t practice Friday.

That progression earns the spotlight. The official word remains Questionable. Anything stronger would be guessing.

Theo Johnson, New York Giants TE: The Giants downgraded him to Out Saturday.
