Buccaneers at Bengals: Full-PPR Start/Sit
The individual Week 1 fantasy board for Buccaneers at Bengals, plus the price-sensitive prop call.
The PPR shape
Ja'Marr Chase is the best receiver start on the early slate. Joe Burrow is a QB1, Tee Higgins is a WR2, and Chase Brown is an RB1/RB2. Cincinnati's core is concentrated enough that fantasy managers do not need to invent Week 1 ambiguity.
Tampa Bay is more sensitive to injury news. Jalen McMillan and Sean Tucker are doubtful. Emeka Egbuka practiced fully and has no final designation, so he is a WR2 rather than a decoy concern. Chris Godwin is a PPR WR2/flex, Bucky Irving is an RB2, Baker Mayfield is a QB1, and Cade Otton is a streamer.
The likely absence of McMillan consolidates routes and targets. It does not automatically create a huge outside-receiver day if Cincinnati controls possession, but it strengthens the catch projection for Egbuka and Godwin.
Best start: Ja'Marr Chase. He owns the target concentration and touchdown ceiling managers drafted him for.
Most important sit: Jalen McMillan. Doubtful players should not occupy a starting slot when the replacements have defined roles.
Lineup pivot: If McMillan is inactive as expected, Egbuka is the preferred Tampa receiver and Godwin remains a strong PPR play.
Tampa Bay's final updates are maintained in the Buccaneers' September news log, with consolidated designations in the NFL injury report.
Prop board
Chase Brown over 3.5 receptions, William Hill -109 at the published mark. Four catches is a reachable outcome in a concentrated Cincinnati offense. Play only at 3.5 receptions and -110 or better. Pass at 4.5 or a price worse than -110.
